Prestige Rejuvenating Set: Is it worth the try?
(This is not a PAID REVIEW. All statements written here about this product is from my own experience and purchased at my own cost.)
A lot of anti-acne products have been circulating the market but many of us just can’t find the right product for our acne prone skin. If you are tired of trying all the products out there, then you came to the right blog!
I have been suffering from acne for atleast 5 years now and it annoys me a lot that by the age of 23 I still have this annoying zits on my face, what annoys me more is remembering that my skin before was flawless. This acne problem all started when I tried this product from a friend of mine promising that it will tighten and whiten my skin. But UNFORTUNATELY, it became worse, acne started to bloom on my face and I just can’t stop them.
I have tried all anti-acne products. YES you read it right. I tried all of them! Until my bestie who was having the same problem as mine discovered this product that changed our lives.
It was the PRESTIGE REJUVENATING SET from Prestige International. It only costs PHP 250 – 350. You can order this on Lazada or Shopee or other online sellers and look for the cheapest offer. They have two rejuvenating sets: MILD and EXTRA STRENGTH. The MILD set is for average acne while the EXTRA STRENGTH set is for severe acne. I was hesitant at first coz it might just worsen my skin condition but still I gave it a shot. Seeing my bestie’s clearer skin gave me the guts to try it. I used the MILD rejuvenating set since my skin was already sensitive for trying a lot of anti-acne products.
The set comes with a bar of soap, toner, rejuvenating cream, and sublock cream:
Directions for use:
1. Wash your face with soap. (Don’t let it sit on your face. IT STINGS!)
2. Rinse with cold water. (To ease the stingy sensation on your face)
3. Pat dry. (NEVER RUB!)
4. Dab a little amount of toner on a cotton ball and gently PAT it on your face.
5. Apply a THIN AMOUNT of the rejuvenating cream (at night) and/or sunblock cream (at daytime)
I have been using this for a couple of months now and I am loving the result.

A lot better right? I am so happy that atleast there is an improvement on my skin m. I am going to stick to this routine until my acnes will never ever show up again. There are still red marks as seen on the photo but these aren’t active pimples. They’re just acne scars. But unfortunately, this product won’t remove acne scars.

DeleteTalaga bang nakakared ng muka tas parang maitim? Im using this for almost 1week at ayan yung effect sakin. Plus di naman nag lalighten yung pimple marks ko.

However, kung sensitive ang skin niyo, wag niyo pong ibabad yung soap sa mukha nyo. Yung toner naman po konting konti lang ang ilalagay nyo sa face niyo at parang ipa-pat niyo lang siya. Wag na wag din po magbibilad sa araw kapag gumagamit nito. Sana po nakatulong ito sainyo. :)

ReplyDeleteHi! Thanks for reading my blog! Hindi po siguro sayo hiyang yung product. Iba-iba po ang skin types natin. Yung mga products na maaring hiyang sakin, hindi sainyo hiyang. As well as, yung hiyang sainyo; maaring hindi din sakin hiyang. May I know kung ilang days niyo po ito ginamit? :)

ReplyDeleteHi Carmina! This product does not reduce the appearance of large pores. However, you can try my personal technique by simply rubbing an ice all over your face right after cleansing it. I hope this helps! Let me know! :)

DeleteI am using this for 2 weeks now and namula ang face ko. Hindi nmn masakit. Parang namula lang sya. Di ko alam kung itutuloy ko pa.. Nttakot ako.

ReplyDeleteHi, stop nyo na po yung paglagay sa leeg. Naging dilemma ko din po yan and nadamage ung skin ko sa leeg. Di po talaga advisable i-apply sa leeg ung rejuvenating cream kasi mas manipis po ung skin dun, as per my derma.
DeleteHi reader! Use this product only in the face. As what the other reader said, tama po siya. Mas manipis ang skin natin sa neck so it is not advisable to apply in that area.

ReplyDeletePwede din naman po gumamit ng make up. However, since we wanted to heal the pimples, I suggest na wag na lang po muna.

ReplyDeleteHi reader! I haven't tried that yet. However, after using the rejuvenating set, kailangan munang mag rest for 2 weeks. Then kung talagang marami pa ring breakouts continue using the set (either mild or extra strenght).

ReplyDeleteYes maraming fake na lumalabas ngayon, so be cautious at siguraduhing original yung mabibiling products. Mas maganda na magbasa muna ng feedbacks kung sa online shop man bibili. With regards naman sa toner, talagang stingy sya kaya dapat ipa-pat mo lang siya sa face at konti lang ang ilalagay na product. :)

ReplyDeleteI tried the extra strength set around 2017 and it miraculously erased all my pimples which just happened for no apparent and known reason. I had too much peeling which really disgusted people i worked with. But heh tiis ganda eh.
i bought extra strength again after a slew of mix and match of Korean skin care but none worked for me except whitening and pacifying red angry pimples. This time, the set just gave me mild peeling and i noticed it gave some zits. I was disappointed by my used to be HG product. Any thoughts?
But now i think i'll revert to it again after my derma prescriptions.
Hi Luzia! Thank you for reading my blog! It happened to me as well. Since I've been using this product for months already, there are really times that I am still having breakouts, siguro hindi na maiiwasan yun? So I just keep on using it, nawawala naman din talaga yung pimples after a week.
DeleteWith regards to using the product together with other products, I suggest you use Prestige alone. Coz we don't know kung ano yung nag-cause ng zits. Was it the Prestige rejuv set or the other products? So if you are going to take a shot again for Prestige, then hit me up when you do so. :)

DeleteHi maam sana ho maymag reply. Ginamit ko po yan gabie lang. Sauna medyo okay lang para wala lang, una ko ginamit is yung wash soap, the. toner ang cream. Tapos pag dating po ng umaga para pong bumigat mukha ko tas parang may something na tumutubo. Akala ko yun na yung effect niya pero paglagay ko ng sunblock after an hour bigla nalang nag init buong mukha ko tas ang kati². Ano po bang best gawin ko po para mawala na yung kati tsaka rashes?
ReplyDeleteHi reader! I'm afraid, hindi po sainyo hiyang ang product. Stop niyo na po muna gamitin yung product and then switch to mild moisturizing soaps like like Cetaphil. Para mabawasan yung pangangati at init ng product sa face, rinse with cold water or apply ice sa face. Thank you

ReplyDeleteI think it's better na iwasan ang direct sunlight as it may burn your skin and apply gradual amount of sunblock. :)
DeleteHello i tried this prestige rejuvinating set for a month and i have another extra set.. is this is safe to use continously?? Because i have seen on the box that this should be use for only a month..
ReplyDeleteAs written in its manual, it cannot be used continuously. What I do is that after a month, I stop using prestige and use it again after 2 weeks or so. :)

ReplyDeleteThe product is intended for acne prone skin. If you want to lighten your skin, I suggest you use other products intended for it. Baka kasi masunog yung balat mo since matapang yung extra strength ng prestige. :)

Actually nagpepeel sya then I notice na may improvement naman sya kasi yung active pimples ko started to peel and flattened. What is the best thing I can do to prevent redness on my face? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteIt is normal na may sudden redness sa skin but to lessen it, gently rub a cube of ice or rinse your face with ice cold water.

DeleteHello po, I am using this product for about 4 days na hindi naman po ako nagkaka-acne ng severe mga 1-3 lang naman yung pimples ko pero madami po akong blackheads tsaka whiteheads lalo na sa nose ko. And then binili ko is yung extra strength na set, okay lang po ba gamitin yun kung sa whiteheads tsaka blackheads lang at konting pimples? Tsaka nakakaputi rin ba ito nang mukha?

Hi Kyle! Yung extra strength po nito ay advisable siya para sa severe ang acne. Kung wala naman kayo masyadong pimples, I suggest na yung mild lang po ang gamitin niyo kasi baka po numipis masyado ang balat niyo sa face.

ReplyDeleteYes po 1 month lang po muna. Then use mild products lang po like Cetaphil, Nivea, Celeteque for maintenance. Kapag nag-breakout po kayo ulit, saka po kayo gumamit ulit. :)

I decided to stop using prestige after a week since I am experiencing itchiness, and I don't know if it's just normal to get white spots, that look like a fungal infection? Also, my forehead got small wounds. Did I do the right decision to stop and I think I'll just get back after two days?
